Our interactive campaign finance viewer now includes the totals from
required 8-day campaign finance reports that candidates filed ahead
of the March 4 election. The reports, due eight days before the election,
account for activity from Jan. 24 through Feb. 22. Our viewer includes
candidates' expenditures, loans and cash on hand, and it offers several
ways to see the details. Each candidates' top 10 donors for the period
are included, along with a breakdown of their fundraising by
contribution size, a list of the states where they collected most of their
donations, and contributions by date for the period. Candidates without
competitive primaries are not required to file these reports and do not
appear in this analysis.
Candidates who organized their campaigns as specific-purpose political
committees (SPACs) are noted as such. Also, note that some candidates
have more than one political action committee.
Use the drop-down menu to select the name of the candidate whose report
you would like to see. And to see the candidate's actual report, click
on the "PDF" link under "View Report."
