Census 2010 Interactive Map: Voting Age Population By County

The U.S. Census Bureau collected 2010 population totals for Texas counties, breaking down the numbers by race and Hispanic origin. The data also provide a snapshot of the adult population (age 18 and older) of each county, showing how many people of voting age live in each area. This is particularly relevant to the redistricting work currently underway in the Texas Legislature.

This interactive map displays the totals in different shades, with darker colors signifying higher rates of adult population growth by race and Hispanic origin. Select a county to pull up a table of that county's figures. Use the drop down above the map to change the map's view, and use the drop down below to change the table's loaded data.
