July marked a milestone for Texas employment: two straight years of continuous job growth. Texas surpassed pre-recession employment levels in December, but economists say the Texas economy hasn’t reached full recovery — the statewide unemployment rate increased slightly to 7.2 percent in July — in part because of national and global economic uncertainty.
This updated interactive shows how employment has changed by industry since 2007, as well as current unemployment rates by county. Use your keyboard to select and compare industries on the graph. Use the Control or Command key to select multiple industries for comparison. Then scroll down to see the variation in county unemployment rates across Texas.

Fellow Americans when we are going to stop the corrupt Bankers of this United States from exploiting the middle class and the poor of this country.
Obama and the Washington corrupt politicians dare to tell the truth to the American people.
Today thousands of property owners want to refinance to get lower rates on their loans. But the biggest impediment to accomplish this, are the Banks that we the taxpayers of this United States, bailout when they was in trouble. The banks are the ones that can help to get our economic going again, if they do their job and get the 2 million or more home owners to refinance and be able to save 250.00 per month or more; they be able to inject in to the US economic over 500 million Dollars per month this will create jobs for Americans; we need jobs and the banks and the financial system do not want to be part of the solution to this huge economic problem.
Mr. Obama. Do your job and expose the greedy bankers that want to exploit the home owners of this country, we are the ones that paid for their bail out, the right thing to do for these greedy SOBS is to return to the people some of the money that they get from as by not charging the people for credit reports and other items that are not necessary to process the loan.
The following, should be only charge by the bank or finance company to do their job and refinance the loan without robing the people by charging for items they dont need because they being done many times before.
1- Origination fee
2- Appraisal
3- Title insurance
4- Mortgage recording
Today, they charge you to get a better rate, for credit report, land survey and other items that will cost you from 6 to 10 thousand Dollar and if your loan is insure by FHA because you dont have a 20% equity; you have to pay 180 dollars more on your loan.
Fellow Americans this refinance is a farce, to make you pay more money, because to recover the money that cost you to refinance will take from 2 to 3 years.
The Bank that hold my mortgage is Well Fargo, I want to refinance through them, but they want to charge me for getting my credit report; they hold all the paper work from my home but, they want to start all over again to refinance my home that will take extra money and the cost of refinance will be pay by increasing my home balance that will take 2 years to recover this cost. That is the way that this corrupt system is helping us the ones that need the most. If I was rich, they will not require all that paper work again. I say shame on them and we need to expose them so the people be aware of what is going on.
This is what we must do; send letters to President Obama, your senator and congressman and place this letter on face Book, we must expose this corrupt system that take advantage of the poor and the middle class. They always rob the poor they are in business because they charge you for every thing that the rich do not pay for.
